Mike began showing an interest in the drums at the age of two, by beating on pots and pans. His parents recognized his passion for music at this early age and got him his first drum set at the age of four. He has taken private lessons and has been in many musical organizations through high school and college, perfecting his drumming and learning how to play other instruments, such as guitar, bass, and piano. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Technology from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
